Welcome to the site! A little about me in case you are interested.. I am a machinist full time, it is what I do for a living. Let us just get one thing out of the way right now: I absolutely love machining.

In a way, machining is what got me into the top community. While I was going to school for machining, I had a wood lathe that I would turn things on and my favorite thing to turn was tops. I am not sure what attracted me so much to them but that is what I liked. One day after a long night of interneting I came across precision metal tops and it was all over from there. When I found out that people were making tops out of metal, I instantly became a collector and then a maker. It has been a fun journey so far and I hope to be able to continue providing you with a good variety of spin related items whether it is tops or bases or something else I decide to make.

When It comes to tops I think that I am automatically attracted to performance over anything. The unfortunate thing about performance is that it sometimes does not leave much room for design. So just know whenever I make a top, I am usually on a quest to find that balance between the two. Although performance attracts me, I dont think I would ever be able to make a top that didnt have some kind of pleasing design features.

My tops are made on the manual lathe and also a cnc lathe.
